This is a versatile and powerful guitar for both fingerstylists and flatpickers. With regard to tone, I follow one simple principle, that I'm always looking for more of everything. I want great volume, low lows, high highs, and sustain across a great dynamic range and in all registers. With this guitar the basses are very full and rich, but focused and never muddy. The midrange of any guitar is the real sweetspot of its timbre. A strong upper midrange provides a kind of "sweetness". Fat trebles with sustaining upper partials provide a bell-like tone.
