Acoustic Guitar Sessions Presents Eric Skye & Mark Goldenberg
On the heels of their recent duo album Artifact, Acoustic Guitar magazine invited Skye and Goldenberg to record an Acoustic Guitar Session. The acoustic guitarists offered up stunning improvisational performances built around two original instrumentals: Skye's "Golden" and Goldenberg's "Song 13."
An ad hoc encounter at the 2008 Healdsburg Guitar Festival in Santa Rosa, California, where Eric Skye and Mark Goldenberg had been paired on the same bill, led to the realization that these two skilled solo fingerstylists had a duo in their future.
