Talk about determined. Dar Williams stops in the Acoustic Guitar studios for an Acoustic Guitar Session to talk about never giving up on her fledgling music career—even in the face of petty cynicism from some of those closest to her.

Then she takes her Collings cutaway, and shows how that dauntlessness paid off—in the form of a breathless performance of “When I Was a Boy,” the song she says launched her career.
