Hi Michael! Nice review! I own this guitar for about half a year now. When I perform live I realized that the sound signal straight from the guitar is kinda weak. Do you use a preamp? Which one? Also it gets boomy so, a low end cut would be useful. What’s your experience on that? Do you have to suggest any specific pedal. ?Thanks in advance!

The sound is amazing direct into my AER amp. Combine it with a preamp and some compression and it gets even better. Add polished strings and it pretty much can replace every other guitar I own.
I’ve seen complaints of excessive string noise – this can be resolved with the polished strings; but if you don’t want to make that investment (they can be pricey), try turning down the body sensor.
I have small hands but the radius and design of the neck allow me to reach notes just as easily as I can on my steel string despite the longer scale and wider nut.
In short, I’m a fan.

Greg, I am also thinking of getting one for use in worship. I currently have a Godin nylon guitar which I have had for over 20 years. It’s almost perfect, but I am more than a little tempted.
I hope you can find some help / are able to save up to get one. I have similar issues!
Hopefully I can at least find one to try in a local shop.
