Whether you’re a singer-songwriter playing solo or want to join a band, you need to feel confident taking the lead. This series will help intermediate players like you level up – you’ll learn how to play your favorite songs in new ways and develop a musical toolkit that will make your riffs and solos more musical, memorable, and fun to play! By the end of 12 weeks, we’re confident you’ll feel ready to hit that open mic or jam session without fear.

  1. How cool! Gretchen Menn and Jane Miller are excellent teachers. This course will be a game changer. And the course is free? This is truly an embarrassment of riches. Thank you Acoustic Guitar Magazine.

  2. I am a massive fan of Elixir strings. I switched to them for my acoustic guitars several years ago and occasionally gave other strings a trial run. Always come back. Thank you, Elixir!
I look forward to this course.

  3. Hoping to enjoy the 12 lessons as much as I enjoy my Elixir Phosphor Bronze Light (12 to 53) Acoustic Guitar Strings with NANOWEB Coating (which I have been using for years).

    With Much Gratitude and Appreciation,

    Blair

  4. Are you going to list the lessons anywhere other than email as well? I got the 1st one already, but haven’t gotten the 2nd one, or if I have, ummm, I messed up and deleted it before grabbing the lesson. Thanks for this!

  5. I am fearly good guitar player. Have to have lyrics and chords in front of me to play. Can’t play by ear, can not bar chord know all my major chords. Only use three fingers on the left hand. I don’t play real loud I think it’s softer to play with out a pick. I have a hard time to use other methods of picking I mainly use a bass strum method. Can do some walking up and down to different chords. Any advise you can give will be appreciated.
