Acoustic Guitar Sessions Presents Anthony D’Amato
The NYC-based singer-songwriter talks about his approach to songwriting and guitar playing, and performs three songs from his latest release.
NYC-based singer-songwriter Anthony D’Amato has quite the musician’s resume. At Princeton, he studied lyrics with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon. For a summer, he worked at Martin Guitar as “shadow” for guitar historian Dick Boak. D’Amato’s also had a tenure working as a music publicist. None of that would mean anything if he wasn’t such a distinctive and compelling songwriter.
